Our little Emmie M. is 18 months already!!! I can't believe how quickly the past year and half has gone by. In some ways I love that she is at this stage because it's a lot of fun, but I also really miss having a baby to hold and cuddle. (She won't let me cuddle with her anymore - too busy!)Here are 18 things about Emma at 18 months:
1.When you yell "Squirrel" she will stop whatever she's doing to turn her head. (From the movie UP)
2.She does not like to sit long enough to get dressed or have her diaper changed - she has more important things to do.
3.She always has to carry at least 1 purse around - usually it's 1 on each arm.
4.She loves her doll that she got for Christmas, and gets mad if anybody else tries to touch it.
5.She has to have 2 or more binkies in her bed when she sleeps. She likes to throw them, so she needs a backup.
6.She loves baths and showers.
7.Her favorite foods are strawberries, cheese, frozen peas, cereal, goldfish, and milk.
8.She loves to dance with Keslie.
9.Climbing on the kitchen table is one of her favorite activities.
10.We call her "The Destroyer" because she is constantly making a mess wherever she goes. It's always obvious when Emma has been in a room, and we try to keep as many doors closed as possible!
11.If she is walking around with a binky in her mouth, and sees another one laying around, she will drop the one that's in her mouth and switch it for the new one she's found.
12.She doesn't like eggs.
13.She loves to play with Keslie's tea set, and can often be seen with a teacup and spoon in her hand. She brought them with her on a recent trip to the Library and Costco and held onto them the entire time!
14.She loves, loves, loves milk and does not even want her diaper changed in the morning until she has had her milk.
15.Emma is really funny, and is always doing crazy things to get us to laugh.
16.She just started Nursery and has a lot of fun. I stay with her even though she doesn't need me, because she just seems too little to be in there!!
17.She loves to put everything in her mouth, especially paper????!!!!
18.She loves to help me with the laundry - she will take the clean clothes, shake them out, and try to fold them for me.
We love Emmie M. and we are so happy to have her in our family!

I can't believe she is already 18 months old! She is so cute and smiley! I do remember that she likes to eat paper... it was so funny to watch her do it over Christmas. She'd look at you, put it in her mouth and run... so funny that Emma!
hahaha the squirrel thing is REALLY funny! so she loves crawling on the table too? taking kirra off the table is an a daily thing here--isn't it so much fun? haha she looks more and more like jack? or at least in those pics. shes so cute and her eyes...i love them. miss you!!!!
Oh my goodness! Such a sweetie...I want to cry she is so cute. Thanks for sharing with the 18 things. She'll like to read those things when she is older. Sure wish we were closer so I could hug that most precious girl! LYTTTTTM!

Hahaha! Funny! My kids picked up on the "squirrel" thing too.
