It was the perfect Saturday morning.....

We were having a great time listening to "Wicked", watching Keslie sing and dance as the Witch, and waiting for our breakfast to cook.
Then our perfect morning quickly took a turn when Jack stepped up onto Keslie's "stage" and interrupted her solo.

Then our breakfast didn't turn out quite right. (It was a new recipe) The kids called it the ugly pancake.

It was all easily fixed though when Keslie was able to finish her solo,

and then I made our regular no fail pancakes - All was right again.

That's hilarious! We will have to take them to see Wicked when it comes to Denver next time. It is the best musical ever. BTW, that was a german pancake and that's the way it's supposed to look. They are our favorite. just so you know, you didn't mess it up. THat's how it's supposed to be. It was perfect.

LOL. I was thinking the same thing as Brecken's comment about the pancake. We used to eat them at the Barlow's house in Vallejo. Yum! Funny way to post the story though. It was cute :)

That first picture of Kes is so funny... You can totally tell she is singing her little heart out! Umm love the pancake, and the fact that you thought you screwed it up! I hope you didn't throw it out... german pancakes are so yummy! They look funny but taste great! :)

What fun! Yes,it looks like Kes is belting out that song. And since we never had German pancakes, you had no idea how they were supposed to look. My fault! Keep trying those new recipes. And Jack...maybe K will let you share the stage soon. Very cute post!!! LYTM!!!!!!!
